This Privacy Policy describes how Vach (vach.cc) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our free text-to-speech service.

What data we collect

Text you submit for speech generation (not stored unless you choose to make it public).
Session data (language preference) stored in a short-lived browser cookie.
IP address and basic request metadata for rate limiting and security purposes.
Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (page views, audio plays).

Public audio files

If you choose to make a generated audio public, the text, audio file, voice, language, and creation timestamp are stored on our servers and displayed in the public gallery. You may request removal by contacting us.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to remember your language preference. This cookie does not contain personal data and is not used for tracking. Google AdSense, which we use to fund the service, may set its own cookies for advertising personalisation. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's ad settings.

Third-party services

Google Fonts — used to load web fonts. Requests go to Google's servers.
Google AdSense — advertising service. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. May process requests through their network.

Data retention

Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes. Public audio files are retained until removed by an administrator. Private (non-public) audio files are not stored after delivery.

Your rights

You may request deletion of public audio files or any data associated with your session by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days.
